Microsoft 365 Partner in Kozhikode
For Calicut’s Cyberpark firms, clinics, timber traders and shops — most of whom are not choosing Microsoft 365 from nothing, but weighing it against Google Workspace or Zoho they already run.
We work here from Angadippuram in neighbouring Malappuram district. One office, no branch claimed in Kozhikode.
We resell Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and Zoho, so this page can say what a single-vendor partner cannot: for a good many Kozhikode businesses, Microsoft 365 for everyone is not the right answer. It is right where people live in desktop Excel and Word. Elsewhere the better buy is often cheaper — Zoho or Google for most staff, with Microsoft added only for the few who need it. The job is matching each person to the tool they will actually use.
Five kinds of business we work with here
Almost none of them starts from a blank page. Each already runs something, and the real question is what to keep.
Cyberpark software firms
Government Cyberpark and UL Cyberpark house software teams whose platform was chosen when they were five people — usually Google, sometimes Zoho — and who now meet clients running Microsoft. That does not always mean they should switch.
Timber traders at Kallai
Once counted among the largest timber markets in Asia, the Kallai trade still runs on phone calls, ledgers and long relationships. Most offices need email and little else, which makes the cheapest sensible answer the right one.
Clinics and hospitals
Kozhikode is a medical centre for much of north Kerala. Clinics weighing Microsoft 365 are usually weighing it against Zoho or Google on price, and the deciding question is whether anyone there needs desktop Office at all.
Traders on SM Street and in Valiyangadi
Family businesses, wholesale and retail, whose email started on somebody's personal Gmail. The first decision is less which platform than giving the business an address it owns.
Businesses already running on Zoho
Plenty of firms here keep their books and customers in Zoho already. The question is not whether to replace it, but whether Microsoft 365 should sit beside it — and for which people.

Four things Kozhikode businesses ring about
Three of the four end without anyone switching platforms. That is not modesty on our part; it is simply how these calls usually resolve.
A client insists on Teams, and we are on Google
You may not need to move anything. A client can add your people to its own Teams as guests, and guest access works with any email address, a Google Workspace one included. Switching platforms for one client's meetings is usually the expensive answer to a cheap problem.
The accountant's macros will not run in Google Sheets
VBA macros need Excel; Google Sheets does not run them. Microsoft 365 Apps for business puts desktop Excel on the accounts team's machines without moving anyone's email off Google or Zoho.
Zoho CRM never sees our Outlook email
Zoho provides an Outlook plug-in that lets staff attach emails to CRM records without leaving Outlook. Where sales really happens in email, that one connection is what keeps the CRM worth having.
We pay for Business Standard and use it like Business Basic
Common after one plan was sold to everyone. If most people only use email and the browser apps, moving them to Business Basic saves ₹690 per person per month — at the next renewal, since annual licences cannot be reduced mid-term.
What businesses here are usually moving off
The last row is the one people least expect. Some of the best savings come from staying on Microsoft 365 and changing who is on which plan.

Close. Tech Geum has one premises, in Angadippuram in Malappuram district, which borders Kozhikode, and we do not claim offices elsewhere. Most Calicut work is done remotely, and when a visit genuinely helps — a pilot with the team that will use the new setup most — it is a short trip.

The one that fits how your people actually work. If anyone lives in desktop Excel or Word, Microsoft 365. If a team mostly needs email and shared documents in a browser, Google Workspace or Zoho do that well for less. If you already run Zoho CRM and Books, keeping Zoho and adding Microsoft only where it is needed is often the cheapest sound answer. We resell all three, so the recommendation costs us nothing either way.

Zoho Mail Lite at ₹59 per user per month (checked 22 September 2026), or Microsoft 365 Business Basic at ₹170 (checked 21 September 2026), both annual and GST extra. Microsoft also sells a mail-only plan, Exchange Online (Plan 1), but at ₹335 (checked 25 September 2026) it costs more than Business Basic, which includes more — so it rarely makes sense.

Yes. Microsoft 365 Apps for business, at ₹830 per user per month, is the desktop Office apps and OneDrive with no mailbox, so email stays on Zoho or Google. A twenty-person trading firm keeping Zoho Mail Lite for everyone and giving its four accounts staff Apps for business pays ₹4,500 a month, against ₹17,200 to move all twenty to Business Standard. Prices annual, GST extra.
helpA client wants us in Teams. Do we need Microsoft 365?

Not necessarily. The client can invite your people into its own Teams as guests, and guest access works with any email address — a one-time code is sent to it if there is no Microsoft account behind it (checked 25 September 2026). If several clients work that way and your own team would benefit from Teams too, that is the point to reconsider. One client is not.

Yes, at renewal. Annual licences can be reduced only within seven days of buying, renewing or adding them (checked 25 September 2026); after that the count is fixed until the next renewal. We review who uses what beforehand, so on the renewal date each person moves to the plan they need — a saving of ₹690 a month for everyone who drops from Standard to Basic.

Yes, and the useful test is not a trial of the product but a pilot of the change. Put the five people who would use Microsoft 365 most on it for a few weeks, on real work, before anyone else moves. If they would not go back, the rest of the decision is easy; if they would, it has cost you five licences rather than fifty.
