Zoho Industry Solutions: The 7 New Vertical Apps Explained

For most of its history, Zoho has sold the same apps to every kind of business. In September 2026 it started building for specific industries instead. Here is what each of the seven new apps does, where it is available, and whether it beats customising Zoho CRM yourself.

TGTech Geum·

Part of our series on Zoho's September 2026 launches. Start with what Zoho Zia Chat is or the overview of all seven Zoho industry solutions.

Zoho industry solutions are the company's first serious move into vertical SaaS: software shaped around how a car dealer, a lender or a restaurant actually works, instead of a general CRM you bend to fit. Zoho announced all seven on the same day as Zoho Zia Chat, and the two are meant to work together.

Why Zoho is moving into vertical SaaS

Zoho's general apps are broad. A Zoho CRM account works for a software firm and a hospital, but both spend weeks configuring fields, stages and workflows that their industry takes for granted. Vertical apps start from those defaults.

Zoho's argument is "horizontal breadth with vertical depth". The industry layer sits on top of the same platform, so a dealership using AutoDMS still gets Zoho Books for accounts and Zoho Analytics for reports, with no integration project between them. Zoho also argues that AI works better with industry context: Zia Chat answering a question about a loan file is more useful when the system knows what a FOIR check is.

India is the obvious launch market for Zoho industry solutions. Zoho reported 47% year-on-year revenue growth in India in 2025, and four of the seven apps are India-first, built around rules such as ABDM in healthcare and GST invoicing in retail.

Four of these have their own guide in this series. The other three, AutoDMS, Zoho LOS and Zoho for Real Estate, are covered in full below.

Zoho for Retail and restaurants

Zoho for Retail bundles point of sale, inventory, payments, ecommerce and marketing, and adds Zoho RetailIQ, a new CRM built for shops rather than sales teams. It tracks buying habits, runs loyalty programmes and sends offers over WhatsApp, SMS and RCS. Our Zoho for Retail guide covers how the pieces fit together.

Zoho POS for Restaurants is the most immediately usable launch: a cloud POS with dine-in table service, kitchen order routing, Swiggy and Zomato sync and GST invoices. Its free plan covers basic counter billing for restaurants billing up to ₹12 lakh a year, and paid plans start at ₹499 per outlet per month. See Zoho POS for restaurants for the features and the fine print.

Zoho for Healthcare and education

Zoho for Healthcare covers patient records, appointments, billing and engagement, and works alongside an existing hospital information system. The new piece is MedScribe, which listens to a consultation and writes the clinical note and prescription for the doctor to approve. Read Zoho MedScribe explained for what it means for Indian clinics.

Zoho for Education now has two products: Zoho Classes for teaching and learning, and the new Zoho Campus for running the institution itself, from admissions and fee collection to staff records. Our Zoho Campus guide explains where one ends and the other begins.

Zoho AutoDMS: a dealer management system for vehicle dealers

Zoho AutoDMS is the most mature of the seven, and the only one Zoho lists as available in India, the US and the EU. It is a dealer management system (DMS) that ties together the two halves of a dealership that usually run on separate software: the showroom and the workshop.

Sales side

  • Lead tracking with automated follow-ups and deal workflows.
  • Test-drive booking and scheduling.
  • Customer profiles that carry purchase and service history.
  • Sales dashboards by salesperson, model and source.

Service side

  • Service appointment scheduling and customer updates.
  • Digital work orders, with photos of the vehicle at check-in.
  • Spare parts inventory with automatic reordering.
  • Warranty claims and service analytics.

AutoDMS also covers OEM relationships (manufacturer catalogues, pricing and stock coordination), and comes with mobile apps plus purpose-built screens such as customer kiosks and technician touchscreens. Zoho has not published AutoDMS pricing; you request a demo.

Who should look at it: two-wheeler and four-wheeler dealers running sales on a spreadsheet or a basic Zoho CRM setup and service on separate workshop software. Dealers already on an OEM-mandated DMS should check what the manufacturer allows before switching.

Zoho LOS: a loan origination system for banks and NBFCs

Zoho for BFSI combines a CRM for banking and insurance with a business-rules and decisioning platform. Its new centrepiece is Zoho LOS, a loan origination system that takes a loan from first application to disbursement.

  • Application capture from web, mobile, partner portals, branches, agents and partners.
  • Verification: KYC, credit bureau, financial, employment, banking, identity and field checks.
  • A built-in rules engine for eligibility, scoring, FOIR limits and deviations, configured by the credit team rather than coded.
  • AI document intelligence: data extraction, face matching, name verification and audio transcription.
  • Multi-level approvals, deviation management, e-signature through Zoho Sign, eNACH mandates and payment schedules.
  • Handoff to your loan management system and core banking.

Zoho LOS supports personal, business, professional, vehicle, home and gold loans, both unsecured and secured. It is in early access in India, with no public pricing.

Who should look at it

NBFCs, co-operative banks and fintech lenders whose loan process still runs on email, spreadsheets and paper files. Large banks with an established LOS are less likely to switch, but may use the rules engine or CRM on their own.

Zoho for Real Estate: CRM from enquiry to booking

Zoho for Real Estate is built for brokers, agents and developers, and is available in India and the US. Its core is a real estate CRM that follows a buyer from first enquiry to closed deal:

  • Lead capture and automatic assignment to the right agent.
  • Buyer-to-property matching from your listings.
  • Site-visit scheduling and follow-up tracking.
  • Deal and document management through to closure.
  • Dashboards for agent performance through Zoho Analytics, and lead forms through Zoho Forms.

Real estate has the longest sales cycle of the seven industries, and the biggest risk is a lead going cold between the site visit and the second follow-up. That is exactly the gap this app targets. Builders and brokers in Kerala already use Zoho for this; it is one of the industries we set up most often as a Zoho partner in Kerala.

Should you use a Zoho industry app or customise Zoho CRM?

Before Zoho industry solutions existed, the only route was to take Zoho CRM or Zoho Creator and configure it for your industry. That route still exists, and for many businesses it is still the better one.

ChooseWhen
The industry appYour process is close to the industry standard, and you want to go live quickly with compliance built in
Customised Zoho CRM or CreatorYour process is unusual, the industry app is still in early access, or you need it outside its launch region
BothUse the industry app for the core workflow and Zoho One apps around it for accounts, HR and reporting

Whichever you choose, the setup decisions (fields, permissions, data migration) decide whether it works. That is the work of a Zoho implementation partner. If you also need accounts, HR and reporting around the industry app, Zoho One is usually cheaper than licensing those apps one by one.
