What a Kerala Zoho POS setup has to handle
Onam, Vishu and wedding seasons
Most Kerala showrooms do a large share of their year in a few weeks. We set festival offers up as rules ahead of time, add registers for the rush, and transfer stock to the branches that will need it, so the counter is not where the plan is made.
Branches in different towns
A family showroom in Perinthalmanna with branches in Manjeri and Tirur, or a chain across Kochi and Thrissur, needs stock by outlet and transfers between them. Each shop is set up as a location with its own registers.
Textiles, sarees and footwear
Sizes, colours and designs set up as variants with barcodes, exchanges handled within your return window, and stock checked at other branches before a customer is told an item is out.
Unreliable connectivity
Shops outside town centres lose connectivity often. Zoho POS keeps billing offline and syncs when the line returns; offline billing with unlimited transactions starts at the Standard plan.
Moving off standalone billing software
Many Kerala shops bill from desktop software that is not connected to accounts. We move items, barcodes and opening stock across, and connect Zoho Books so the accountant stops retyping day-end sales.
A godown behind the shops

Zoho India list price per location per month, billed annually, as of October 2026, excluding GST. Monthly billing costs more (₹799 / ₹1,599 / ₹2,499). Extra registers, users and warehouses are sold as add-ons, which the Free plan does not support.

How much does Zoho POS cost for a shop in Kerala?
Zoho's India prices apply: a Free plan limited to 50 transactions, then ₹649, ₹1,299 or ₹2,099 per location per month billed annually, excluding GST (October 2026), depending on registers, users and features. Our implementation fee is separate and one-off.
When should we switch billing software — before or after Onam?
After the season and well before the next one. Going live in a quiet month gives cashiers time to get fast and leaves a few weeks to set festival offers and extra registers up properly before the rush.
Can Zoho POS handle branches in different Kerala towns?
Yes. Each branch is a location with its own registers and stock, and stock is transferred between branches. Retail pricing is per location, so each branch is one licence.
Is Zoho POS for restaurants different?
Yes. Restaurants, cafés and bakeries use the restaurant edition, which adds kitchen order tickets, tables, waiter ordering and Swiggy and Zomato integration, and has its own prices.
