Zoho POS for Restaurants
A restaurant POS earns its keep in the kitchen and the storeroom, not just at the billing counter.
Zoho POS for Restaurants is the restaurant edition of Zoho POS, with its own plans. It takes orders at the counter, at the table and from Swiggy and Zomato, sends kitchen order tickets to the right station, and deducts ingredients by recipe so food cost can be measured. We build your menu, modifiers and kitchen routing, set up tables, waiter devices and aggregators, and connect sales to Zoho Books. For what the edition is and whether its free plan fits a small outlet, read our guide to Zoho POS for restaurants.

The parts of Zoho POS for Restaurants we configure
The edition is priced per outlet. The plan is usually decided by whether you need aggregator orders (Essentials), table service and recipes (Signature), or loyalty and kiosks (Premium).
Menu, modifiers and availability
Items, variants and modifiers such as portions and add-ons, with menu availability managed so items can be switched off when they run out. A QR menu and menu availability controls start at Essentials.
KOTs and kitchen stations
Kitchen order tickets on every plan, including Free. Routing each item to its station — tandoor, Chinese, juice counter — starts at Essentials.
Swiggy and Zomato
Aggregator orders arrive in the POS beside counter and dine-in orders, and menu and price changes sync out. Not on the Free plan; starts at Essentials.
Tables and waiter ordering
Dine-in and table service, with waiters ordering from phones at the table. Starts at Signature, which includes ten waiter devices.
Recipes, purchasing and stock
Purchasing and vendors from Essentials; recipe-based preparation, batch and expiry tracking, and unit conversions from Signature, so ingredient stock falls as dishes are sold.
Accounts and multiple outlets
Sales and payments sync to Zoho Books, and multi-outlet management from Essentials gives one view of every branch and cloud kitchen.
Which restaurant plan fits
These are the restaurant edition's own prices, lower than retail Zoho POS at each step. The Free plan is for outlets billing up to ₹12 lakh a year and has no aggregator or table features.
| Plan | Per outlet / month | Includes | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | ₹0 | 1 register, 1 user | For outlets billing up to ₹12 lakh a year: counter and offline billing, KOTs, modifiers, inventory, GST and real-time reports. |
| Essentials | ₹499 | 2 registers, 3 managers | Unlimited transactions, kitchen stations and item routing, QR menu, Swiggy and Zomato integration, multi-outlet management, purchasing. |
| Signature | ₹1,099 | 5 registers, 10 managers, 10 waiter devices | Adds dine-in and table service, waiter ordering, recipe-based preparation, batch and expiry tracking, catering orders, workflow automation. |
| Premium | ₹2,099 | Unlimited registers, 15 managers, 2 kiosks | Adds loyalty and rewards, advanced promotions and stock audits, ERP and custom integrations, e-way bills. |
Zoho POS for Restaurants India list price per location per month, billed annually, as of October 2026, excluding GST. Monthly billing costs more (₹599 / ₹1,299 / ₹2,499). The Free plan does not include Swiggy and Zomato sync or table service, and add-ons are not available on it.
From menu card to a calm first service
A restaurant goes live between services, so the menu, kitchen routing and hardware are tested before the first real order.
- 1
Outlet review
We go through the menu, kitchen layout, service style, aggregators, hardware and how purchases and wastage are recorded today.
- 2
Menu and kitchen
Items, modifiers, taxes, kitchen stations, printers, tables and waiter devices configured, and Swiggy and Zomato connected.
- 3
Recipes and stock
Ingredients, units and recipes entered for the dishes that matter most to food cost, with opening stock counted and loaded.
- 4
Trial service and training
A trial service with staff placing real orders through every station, then cashiers, waiters and kitchen trained by role.
Six setup mistakes that show up during the dinner rush
Every item printing to one kitchen printer, so the tandoor waits on tickets meant for the juice counter.
Modifiers created as separate items, so the kitchen ticket says one thing and the bill another.
Aggregator menus maintained by hand on each platform, drifting from the POS menu within weeks.
Recipes entered for every dish at once and never checked, so food-cost reports are trusted when they should not be.
Choosing the Free plan and discovering after go-live that Swiggy, Zomato and table service need Essentials or Signature.
No trial service, so the first live dinner is the first time the printers, tables and waiters' phones work together.
Common restaurant setups
Example scenarios, not client case studies: the setups we are most often asked for.
Bakery and café counter
Counter billing on Essentials, a QR menu, Swiggy and Zomato orders, and production items with batches and expiry from Signature where the bakery makes its own goods.
Family restaurant
Signature for table service and waiter phones, kitchen stations for each section, aggregator orders in the same queue, and recipe costing for the top-selling dishes.
Cloud kitchen and multi-outlet brand
Several brands or outlets on Essentials or above, aggregator-led ordering, central purchasing, and one view of sales across every location.
Zoho POS for Restaurants — common questions
How much does Zoho POS for Restaurants cost in India?
It is free for outlets billing up to ₹12 lakh a year. Paid plans are priced per outlet: Essentials ₹499 a month, Signature ₹1,099 and Premium ₹2,099, billed annually and excluding GST (October 2026). These are the restaurant edition's own prices, not retail Zoho POS prices. Our implementation fee is separate and one-off.
Does Zoho POS for Restaurants integrate with Swiggy and Zomato?
Yes, from the Essentials plan. Aggregator orders arrive in the POS alongside counter and dine-in orders, and menu changes sync out. The Free plan does not include it.
Can waiters take orders at the table?
Yes, from the Signature plan, which adds dine-in and table service, waiter ordering workflows and ten waiter ordering devices. Orders go straight to the right kitchen station.
Can Zoho POS for Restaurants calculate food cost?
Yes, with recipe-based preparation on the Signature plan: each dish deducts its ingredients as it sells, so ingredient stock and food cost can be measured. We start with the dishes that drive most of your cost rather than every item on the menu.
Is the free plan enough for a small restaurant?
For a small counter outlet billing under ₹12 lakh a year that does not take aggregator orders or run table service, often yes. Our guide to the edition explains the free plan's limits in detail.
How long does a restaurant rollout take?
A single café or counter outlet can be live in one to two weeks. A dine-in restaurant with several kitchen stations, aggregators and recipe costing takes three to four weeks, including a trial service.
