Working with businesses across India and the Gulf on business systems, cloud and collaboration.
Why Indian businesses buy Google Workspace through a partner
The product is identical either way — same Gmail, same Drive, same Admin console. What changes is how you pay for it, who answers when something breaks, and whether anyone configures it properly in the first place.
The licence cost itself does not change: reseller pricing is not a surcharge on Google's rates. If you want the actual figures first, our Google Workspace pricing in India page sets out the current list prices in INR, what GST adds, and the costs that comparisons usually leave out.
Invoiced in INR, with GST
Buying direct from Google means a USD charge on an international card and a receipt your accounts team cannot claim input credit against. Through an Indian reseller you get a rupee invoice with GST, raised against your GSTIN.
Support inside IST working hours
Google's own support is a global queue. A mail-flow problem at 10am in Kochi or Coimbatore is answered the same morning by someone who already knows how your domain and DNS are set up.
No international card required
Plenty of Indian businesses have no corporate card cleared for recurring USD debits, and forex markup on a per-user monthly subscription adds up. Reseller billing removes that entirely.
Licence count managed with you
Headcount moves. Adding users mid-term, removing leavers before renewal, and moving between editions are handled as part of the relationship instead of sitting in an admin console nobody owns.

Google Workspace services across India
Everything below is delivered remotely — DNS changes, tenant configuration and data migration need no one on site. That is why we work with businesses well beyond Kerala.
Implementation & setup
Domain verification, DNS and MX records, user and group structure, sharing policy and a rollout plan that does not interrupt trading.
Migration
Mail, contacts, calendars and files moved from Microsoft 365, cPanel or IMAP webmail, consumer Gmail, or an on-premise server — with the cutover planned around your working hours.
Security & access control
2-Step Verification enforcement, admin role separation, external sharing rules, and SPF, DKIM and DMARC so your domain cannot be spoofed.
Administration
Ongoing provisioning and offboarding, group and alias management, storage and licence housekeeping as the organisation changes.
Support
A named contact for the problems that actually occur — mail not delivering, a departed employee's files, a shared drive nobody can reach.
Training & adoption
Short, role-specific sessions so teams use Shared Drives and Meet properly instead of reverting to attachments and personal accounts.
What Indian deployments run into
The product is global; the problems are not. These four come up in most Indian engagements, and all of them are cheaper to decide before rollout than to unpick afterwards.
Multi-branch and multi-state operations
A head office in one state with branches, depots or showrooms in others is the common Indian shape. That drives the Shared Drive structure, who can share outside the organisation, and which groups route which mail — decisions worth making before rollout rather than after.
Export and overseas-facing businesses
Firms that transact with overseas buyers by email are the ones most exposed to spoofing and deliverability problems. SPF, DKIM and DMARC are not optional here, and they are the first thing we check when mail is landing in buyers' spam folders.
Mobile-first teams
Field sales, site engineers and delivery staff often work entirely from a phone. That changes how you handle lost devices, account recovery and what a departing employee still has access to — device and access policy matters more than it does in a desk-bound office.
Data governance questions
Retention, exit of key staff, and where data sits come up in most procurement conversations now. Vault covers retention and eDiscovery from Business Plus upward. Data regions are available from Business Standard, but the choices are the United States or the European Union — India is not offered, which matters if residency is a hard requirement rather than a preference.

Organisations we deploy Google Workspace for
Requirements change with the organisation. A ten-person startup needs a clean setup done once; a group with branches in three states needs retention policy and access control that holds across all of them.
SMEs and family businesses
Moving off cPanel webmail, shared hosting mailboxes or personal Gmail onto proper domain email with central control.
Startups
A clean domain, professional email and shared documents set up once, properly, rather than untangled at Series A.
Multi-branch groups
Central admin, Shared Drives per branch or department, and access rules that hold across locations.
Exporters and traders
Deliverability and anti-spoofing for teams whose business runs on email with overseas counterparties.
Institutions
Staff and department accounts, shared resources and room booking, with admin control over external sharing.
Professional services and agencies
Client-facing shared folders and delegated mailboxes for shared addresses, without attachments flying about.
How we work with businesses outside Kerala
Tech Geum operates from Angadippuram in Kerala. We do not claim offices elsewhere, and for this work you do not need one nearby. Domain verification, DNS and MX changes, tenant configuration, data migration and admin handover are all done remotely, and always have been.
What being in India does change is the part that matters when something breaks: you reach someone during your own working day, in a language your team uses, who already knows how your domain is configured.
Where we are
Maaks Square, Calicut Road, Angadippuram, Kerala 679321
Support in English, Hindi and Malayalam. Requirement calls and project work run over call and video — we will only suggest meeting in person if it genuinely helps.

Book a requirement callarrow_forwardYou can buy Google Workspace direct from Google
Plenty of businesses do, and for a two-person company with a card and no migration to run, it is a perfectly reasonable choice. Four things differ, and the licence price is not one of them.
Who issues the invoice
Buying direct means an invoice from a Google entity. Buying through an Indian reseller means a domestic tax invoice raised against your GSTIN by a business registered here. For most finance teams that difference is the whole conversation, and it is worth putting to your accountant rather than taking from a web page — including this one.
How you pay
Direct purchase generally expects a card. A reseller arrangement runs on an invoice with normal commercial terms, which for a lot of Indian businesses is the difference between a purchase that can be processed and one that sits waiting for somebody's personal card.
Who answers when something breaks
Direct support is Google's, in English, on Google's hours, through a queue. A reseller is a named contact who already knows how your tenant is configured. Neither is universally better — the honest question is which one you will actually use at four o'clock on a Friday.
What it costs
The licence price is Google's either way. We do not mark licences up and we would not be able to hide it if we did — Google publishes the list. What is chargeable is the implementation, migration and support around them, quoted as separate explicit lines.
Nothing here is tax advice, and the treatment of a foreign versus a domestic supplier is a question for your accountant rather than your IT partner. The list prices themselves are on the pricing page.
Google Workspace cannot keep your data in India
This comes up in nearly every procurement conversation now, and it is usually answered vaguely. The direct answer is uncomfortable for us, since we sell the product — so here it is plainly, taken from Google's own administrator documentation and checked in September 2026.
The options are the United States or the European Union
Google's data regions policy lets you choose where covered data is stored at rest. India is not one of the choices. If you have read otherwise, it is likely from a page that assumed the feature works the way customers wish it did.
And it needs Business Standard or above
The entry tiers do not have the policy at all, which includes the India-only Base tier. So the businesses most likely to be asked about residency by a larger customer are often the ones least able to answer.
If residency in India is a hard requirement
Then Google Workspace does not meet it, and no amount of configuration changes that. We would rather say so before you buy. Zoho operates an Indian data centre, which is one of the few places where we will point you at the other side of our own practice.
If it is a preference rather than an obligation
Which it often turns out to be once somebody checks the actual contract wording, then the question becomes what your edition supports and what your customers have actually asked for in writing. That is a twenty-minute conversation and worth having early.
We are a partner on both sides, so this is a recommendation rather than a concession — the full comparison, including the rows where Zoho wins, is on Google Workspace vs Zoho Workplace.

Google Workspace in India — common questions
helpIs Tech Geum an authorized Google Workspace reseller in India?
expand_more
Yes. Tech Geum is a Google Partner and an authorized Google Workspace reseller, working with businesses across India from our base in Kerala. We licence Google Workspace directly, invoice in INR with GST, and handle implementation, migration, security and ongoing support as part of the same engagement.
helpCan we buy Google Workspace in INR with a GST invoice?
expand_more
Yes, and this is the main practical reason Indian businesses buy through a reseller rather than direct. Buying from Google charges an international card in USD. We raise a rupee invoice against your GSTIN, which your accounts team can book and claim input credit against in the normal way.
helpDoes buying through a reseller cost more than buying from Google directly?
expand_more
No. Reseller licensing is not a surcharge on Google's pricing. What differs is how you are billed and what comes with it — an INR invoice with GST rather than a USD card charge, and setup, migration and a named support contact included rather than left to you. We quote per organisation based on edition and user count.
helpDo you work with businesses outside Kerala?
expand_more
Yes. Tech Geum is based in Kerala and works with businesses across India. Google Workspace deployment, migration and administration are all done remotely — DNS changes, tenant configuration and data migration need no physical presence. What matters more than proximity is working the same hours you do, which a global support queue does not.
helpHow long does a Google Workspace migration take?
expand_more
For most businesses under a hundred users, one to three weeks from kickoff to cutover. Mail, contacts and calendars are copied across and verified while your current system stays live, so nothing depends on a single switchover moment. The variables that stretch it are mailbox size, how many years of history you want moved, and how tangled the existing DNS is.
helpWhich Google Workspace edition should an Indian business choose?
expand_more
Storage and compliance drive the choice far more than headcount. Business Starter suits teams that mainly need email. Business Standard is the common pick once Drive is genuinely used. Business Plus adds Vault for retention and eDiscovery, which matters if you have audit or record-keeping obligations. Enterprise covers advanced security controls and organisations past the Business-tier user cap.
helpWhere is our data stored, and can we control it?
expand_more
Directly, and this is the answer most procurement teams in India are not given. Google Workspace data sits in Google's global infrastructure, and the data regions policy lets you choose where covered data is stored at rest — but the options Google publishes are the United States, the European Union, or no preference. India is not among them. The policy also requires Business Standard or above, so it is not available on the entry tiers at all. If a contract or a regulator requires your data to remain in India, Google Workspace does not meet that requirement, and we would rather tell you before you buy than after. Checked against Google's own administrator documentation in September 2026.
helpWe already use Zoho. Can we run both?
expand_more
Yes, and many businesses do. A common arrangement is Google Workspace for email, documents and collaboration alongside Zoho CRM or Books for sales and accounting. Tech Geum implements both, so we can give you a straight answer on which combination fits rather than steering you toward one product line.
